Reviews, analyzes, and appeals denials related to DRG downgrades, validating coding and clinical accuracy. Prepares, documents, and submits appeals for DRG denials. Collaborates with CDI and Coding teams to ensure accurate DRG assignment and enhance documentation. Maintains knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines and CMS regulations.
