• respond appropriately to resident behaviors
• communicate with healthcare providers
• maintain documentation
• coordinate tests, appointments, and transportation
• maintain medication-administration competency
• support staff orientation and education
• evaluate and discipline staff
• conduct meetings and training
• address non-clinical resident and family complaints.
