Perinatal Sonographer

The Perinatal Sonographer is an onsite role in Milwaukee, WI, with local travel to other sites if needed. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Advocate Aurora Health’s Maternal–Fetal Medicine Department, caring for patients throughout pregnancy in a close-knit, high-acuity team. The role contributes to diagnosis and continuity of maternal-fetal care while supporting department quality work and clinical instruction.

What you'll do

• Perform basic to advanced obstetric diagnostic ultrasound imaging and procedures, including first-trimester, nuchal translucency, anatomy, growth, Doppler, biophysical profile, basic fetal echocardiography, transvaginal and portable imaging, amniocentesis, and chorionic villi sampling
• select appropriate transducers and technical factors
• review records and obtain patient history
• maintain ultrasound equipment
• participate in quality assurance and maintain examination and billing records
• assist with clinical instruction
• perform patient positioning and transport duties.
