The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Franklin, IN. Pay is $30 per hour. What you'll do

• Write and edit CNC programs using CAM software
• set up CNC lathes by selecting and installing tools and workholding, loading raw material, and adjusting programs and machine offsets
• troubleshoot tool wear, program errors, setup problems, and minor equipment malfunctions
• coordinate or perform basic machine maintenance and ensure preventive maintenance is completed
• follow safety procedures
• drive continuous improvement and process reliability
• communicate status, issues, and production metrics to management.

Why this role

Requires 5–10 years of Swiss-lathe setup and program-writing experience, proficiency with CAD/CAM software, and experience with Citizen Swiss-style or Miyano multi-task lathes. Associate’s degree in CNC machining or precision machining technology is highly desirable. US Person status as defined by ITAR is required.
