Personal Care Aide

Job overview

The Personal Care Aide role is onsite in Hampton, VA, with flexible scheduling and shifts of at least four hours. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. HOME-HEALTHMED SERVICES provides personal care and home health support. The aide assists clients with daily living and mobility needs while providing companionship and following care plans. Monitoring and documenting care, reporting changes, and observing safety and privacy protocols support clients’ day-to-day well-being.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• support transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• provide companionship and emotional support
• monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior
• provide medication reminders as directed
• document care
• follow infection control, safety, and privacy protocols.
