The Center Administrator role is onsite in Bakersfield, CA, with compensation of $62,400–$80,000 per year. The position manages operations for an urgent care clinic, which provides walk-in care for acute illnesses and injuries, workers’ compensation, and occupational medicine. The role exists to oversee clinic operations and performance, supporting quality patient care, efficient workflows, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and patient growth. It manages non-physician clinic staff and coordinates with providers, billing and revenue-cycle teams, and ownership.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing, schedules, workflows, patient flow, and opening and closing procedures
• support patient care and clinic efficiency with providers
• ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, labor laws, and AFC standards
• oversee facility maintenance, equipment, and inventory
• monitor financial performance, collections, charge capture, expenses, and operational metrics
• support quality improvement, audits, staff development, patient service, community engagement, and business development.
