Group Facilitator

Job overview

The Group Facilitator role is onsite in North Palm Beach, FL, and pays $70–$85 per hour. The position is at a dually licensed mental health and substance use treatment center in Palm Beach, Florida. The facilitator leads therapeutic groups and supports participants in a clinical setting. Group discussions, coping-skills activities, documentation, and crisis intervention when necessary contribute to treatment support and participant safety.

What you'll do

• Conduct groups on substance use and mental health topics
• document group progress notes accurately and promptly
• communicate with departments about client issues
• use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to support coping strategies
• facilitate discussions and activities for emotional healing and personal growth
• communicate with the clinical director as needed
• use crisis intervention techniques when necessary
• maintain confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Why this role
