Handyman and General Maintenance Technician

The Handyman and General Maintenance Technician works onsite in Springvale, ME, supporting maintenance across White Bark Property Management’s residential and commercial properties. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. The role helps keep properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. The technician performs general repairs and property improvements, including painting, light carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical work, masonry repairs, and exterior upkeep. The role also inspects properties, responds to maintenance requests, tracks materials and time, and communicates with tenants, property managers, and team members.

What you'll do

• Repair walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, hardware, and fixtures
• complete touch-up painting
• perform light framing, trim, cabinet, and wood repairs
• assist with grounds work and seasonal upkeep
• handle minor plumbing and basic electrical tasks
• complete masonry repairs
• inspect properties
• respond to maintenance requests
• diagnose issues and recommend repair solutions
• maintain tools and work areas
• track materials and time
• follow safety guidelines and building codes.
