The Direct Care Worker & Family Caregiver role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with compensation of $14.50 per hour. Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) provides person-centered support to people with disabilities and seniors in Allegheny County. The role helps adults with disabilities and older adults meet daily needs at home while supporting their dignity and quality of life. Duties may include personal assistance, meal preparation, shopping, transportation arrangements, housekeeping, laundry, and help with appointments.

What you'll do

• Provide non-medical personal assistance and/or housekeeping in participants’ homes
• assist with meal preparation, shopping, transportation arrangements, housekeeping, laundry, and appointments. Some participants may need help with transfers, bathing, or toileting. Follow each participant’s service plan and treat participants with respect and dignity.
