Mainframe Storage Administrator — CICS Backup & Recovery

The Mainframe Storage Administrator — CICS Backup & Recovery role is onsite in Plano, TX; compensation is $48 per hour. What you'll do

• Execute scheduled backups of z/OS system data and catalogs
• monitor backup completion
• schedule and perform restore tests
• maintain and improve backup processes
• update backup and recovery documentation
• manage storage parameters and catalogs
• define storage tiering strategies
• provide DASD and tape allocation support
• coordinate retention periods with application and business teams
• support dataset restoration, new volume additions, and scratch tape adjustments.
