The Engineering Technologist 3 role is fully onsite in Los Alamos, NM. Pay is $75–$80 per hour. The position supports engineering design definition through review and verification of models and drawings. The role ensures mechanical product definitions are accurate, functional, manufacturable, and compliant with engineering standards. It independently resolves complex design issues and works with multidisciplinary teams on reviews, configuration management, and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Review Creo 3D CAD models and drawings for form, fit, function, design intent, and compliance
• evaluate MBD, GD&T, and tolerance stack-ups
• verify applicable ASME Y14 standards
• ensure product definition supports manufacturing, inspection, assembly, and testing
• identify defects and resolve complex issues
• support configuration management and release
• lead and participate in design reviews
• recommend improvements to standards and MBD processes
• guide junior staff and manage multiple assignments.
