Certified Medical Assistant is an onsite, full-time role in Jersey City, NJ, with eight-hour shifts generally scheduled Monday–Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour. The role supports One Medical’s Jersey City office and its primary care services. The assistant provides venipuncture and other clinical support while helping patients navigate in-office care. The role also supports front-desk operations, specimen handling, provider workflows, and a positive patient experience.

What you'll do

• Support patient intake, same-day schedule management, follow-up scheduling, billing and insurance knowledge, and patient outreach
• provide venipuncture and other specimen collection
• assist with EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• label, handle, and process specimens
• maintain inventory and sterilize tools
• respond to patient messages and support clinical and clerical workflows
• perform check-in/check-out, insurance verification, opening and closing duties, and office upkeep.
