Surgical Coordination Specialist

What you'll do

• Coordinate complex surgical events requiring expertise from two or more services
• support families from first contact and evaluation through and after the surgical event
• coordinate pre-, post-, and ancillary testing and appointments as applicable
• facilitate access and continuity of care
• assist families with funding concerns
• support primary care provider notifications
• coordinate interactions among providers, staff, patients, and families.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of experience as a Surgery Coordinator or equivalent leadership experience, at least two years of Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical reception/coordinator experience, and knowledge of medical terminology.
