The Founding Teacher role is in person in Miami, FL. Compensation is $55,000 per year. The teacher will help establish Success Academy’s founding Florida school community and bring its educational model to Miami-Dade. The role exists to deliver rigorous, engaging instruction and support students’ academic and personal development. The teacher studies and teaches the curriculum, assesses learning, builds classroom routines, and works with families and colleagues to improve student outcomes.

What you'll do

• Study Success Academy curriculum, assignments, and learning goals
• deliver engaging instruction
• assess student work and use data to evaluate learning
• provide timely, actionable feedback
• lead a classroom of 25 or more students and maintain routines and expectations
• communicate with families about student growth and success
• collaborate with colleagues and leaders and apply feedback.
