The architect defines and governs secure, scalable, interoperable technical architecture for the DoWEA Education Platform. The role guides modernization, integration, and architecture standards while providing technical leadership to engineering, development, infrastructure, and integration teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and evolve enterprise architecture for instructional, operational, and administrative systems
• lead reviews of cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, integrations, and data platforms
• define integration strategies
• develop modernization roadmaps with government stakeholders
• ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility, and architecture standards
• establish design patterns and governance processes
• guide technical teams.
