General Ledger Accountant

The General Ledger Accountant role is onsite in Saline, MI, with no remote or hybrid option; compensation is not specified. Reporting to the Controller, the accountant maintains accurate financial records, supports month-end close and reporting, manages customer pricing, and contributes to process improvement. What you'll do

• Process weekly cash disbursements for Mexico operations
• provide backup for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing
• manage customer pricing in IQMS/DELMIAWorks
• manage employee credit card charges and petty cash
• maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• research transaction discrepancies
• ensure accurate and timely recording
• verify tooling invoice approvals
• assist with month-end close, reporting, financial metrics, standard costing, and inventory analysis
• improve accounting procedures and processes.
