The Pharmacist role is onsite in Redding, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation is $65–$70 per hour. The role supports Pharmacy Alternatives’ closed-door pharmacy services for long-term care and senior living clients. The pharmacist reviews medication orders, provides clinical recommendations, maintains patient profiles, and coordinates medication monitoring with healthcare teams. The role contributes to safe, appropriate medication therapy and regulatory compliance for residents and clients.

What you'll do

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and route
• provide clinical recommendations to physicians and healthcare staff
• maintain patient and resident profiles
• ensure required laboratory monitoring is ordered, reviewed, and communicated
• collaborate with healthcare professionals
• document communications and interventions
• oversee safe medication handling and dispensing
• ensure regulatory compliance
• report medication errors and adverse events
• educate clinical staff on medication procedures.
