Housing Transformation Coach

The Housing Transformation Coach role is onsite in Oakland, CA. Compensation is $65,720–$78,440 per year. MISSSEY works to prevent sexual exploitation and violence affecting girls and gender-expansive youth and supports young people seeking to exit exploitation. The coach provides immediate-needs assessment, housing navigation, advocacy, and case management to youth in short-term housing. The role contributes to stabilization and connections to longer-term support by helping participants pursue housing goals and navigate systems while respecting their choices and confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Develop immediate-needs life maps with participants
• assess needs for shelter, food, clothing, and health
• advocate for housing needs
• develop housing safety and stabilization plans
• assist with housing applications and referrals
• coordinate with housing providers with participant consent
• support life skills and budgeting
• maintain a caseload of 15–20 youth
• provide psychoeducation
• conduct 2–4 hours of outreach monthly
• maintain case notes and housing records.
