What you'll do

• Provide nursing care across inpatient units
• float between departments based on census, acuity, and staffing
• assess patients and update care plans
• administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and interventions
• monitor clinical changes and respond appropriately
• communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• care for varied medical, surgical, and higher-acuity conditions
• educate patients and families
• document care
• and follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
