Supply Chain Director

The Supply Chain Director role is onsite in Springfield, MO; compensation is not specified. Through supplier management, operational controls, and continuous improvement, the role helps ensure materials and services are available when needed while managing cost and supply risk.

What you'll do

• Direct purchasing, procurement, material planning, scheduling, inventory control, warehousing, shipping and receiving, tool crib operations, and finished-equipment distribution
• develop supply chain strategies and plans
• monitor performance metrics
• manage inventory and working capital
• select and manage suppliers
• mitigate supply risks
• oversee material flow
• manage budgets and cost initiatives
• partner across functions
• lead and develop supply chain staff
• report performance, forecasts, risks, and recommendations.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least five years of progressively responsible management experience, and experience leading a significant supply chain function. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility and occasional additional hours, evenings, weekends, or other shifts as needed.
