Aerial Lift Trimmer

Job overview

The Aerial Lift Trimmer position is onsite in Greenville, TN, and pays $22 per hour. The role performs tree maintenance, including clearing vegetation from utility lines. Working under the General Foreperson’s direction, the trimmer uses a bucket truck and other tools to prune or remove trees and brush. Safe work practices and coordination with crew members help protect workers and the public around utility work areas.

What you'll do

• Follow and help enforce safe practices
• prepare trucks and materials as directed
• perform tree maintenance
• clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines
• remove branches and debris
• maintain tools and equipment
• continue developing climbing and tree maintenance skills
• assist crew members
• keep work areas orderly and communicate with coworkers
• perform storm work as needed.

Why this role

Prior aerial lift experience is preferred. The role requires the ability to work at heights and obtain and maintain first-aid and CPR certification; out-of-town travel for storm restoration may be needed.
