Expert Systems Architect

Job overview

The Expert Systems Architect role is onsite at a customer location in Springfield, VA. Compensation is $135,000–$190,000 per year. The architect supports mission-critical intelligence operations and GEOINT professionals. The role leads enterprise and solution architecture development, maintenance, and modernization so mission requirements, technology investments, and enterprise objectives remain aligned. It provides architectural guidance to government and international stakeholders and supports informed planning and investment decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, maintenance, and documentation of enterprise and solution architectures
• communicate architecture status and recommendations to senior government and international leadership forums
• align solutions with enterprise architecture goals and mission requirements
• analyze user requirements, workflows, and system capabilities
• advise government leadership on design alternatives and strategic direction
• coordinate architects
• create digital models and roadmaps
• support ASG Architecture documentation
• recommend and manage architecture tools
• develop artifacts compliant with DoDAF and IC Program Architecture Guidance
• use Joint Architecture Reference Models and MBSE
• link requirements and design artifacts
• manage architecture repositories and governance tools
• provide architecture support for mission needs and LNO requests.
