The Recreation Leader — Outdoor Recreation role is onsite in Brookline, MA, with a starting hourly rate of $30.85. The role develops and coordinates recreation programs and supports their safe, effective delivery through staff and volunteer supervision, community engagement, and operational administration.

What you'll do

• Plan and lead family outdoor recreation and nature programs
• support licensed Nature Summer Camp operations
• administer outdoor athletic programs
• organize rosters, schedules, teams, officials, coaches, fields, and equipment
• recruit, train, schedule, and supervise part-time and seasonal staff and volunteers
• coordinate vendors and community partners
• manage registrations, records, communications, purchasing, attendance, evaluations, and reports
• inspect facilities and equipment and document safety concerns.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree preferred; three to five years of related experience and at least one year of administrative experience described. Valid Massachusetts Class D driver’s license, CPR certification, and First Aid certification required.
