The Lead Pre-K Teacher role is onsite in Gambrills, Maryland. Pay is $18–$19 per hour. The Goddard School provides early childhood learning and care for children from six weeks to six years old. The teacher leads a classroom in partnership with a co-lead, planning and implementing age-appropriate learning while supporting children’s development. The role also builds family relationships through communication about classroom activities and children’s progress.

What you'll do

• Lead classroom care and education with a co-lead
• design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
• keep the classroom organized and clean
• communicate with parents in person and in writing
• complete quarterly observations and monthly portfolios
• support children’s social and emotional development with positive guidance
• establish effective family relationships.
