Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s clinical leadership team supports resident-centered care and nursing operations. The supervisor oversees overnight nursing operations, guides nursing staff, monitors resident conditions and safety, and supports regulatory compliance. The role helps maintain consistent, high-quality care across shifts through clinical oversight and coordination with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
What you'll do
- Oversee nursing operations during the assigned shift
- support the DON and ADON in maintaining resident-care standards
- supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- conduct rounds
- ensure staffing coverage
- monitor resident conditions and timely interventions
- communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and room readiness
- maintain documentation
- monitor regulatory compliance
- participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement
- respond to incidents and emergencies
- complete narcotic counts and safety checks.
