Software Engineer

Job overview

The Software Engineer role is onsite in Lincoln, RI during an initial 90-day training period, with an option afterward for a hybrid schedule of three office days and one or two remote days. Compensation is not specified. The role supports FSSI’s Application Development team, building document services for clients across financial, banking, insurance, and billing industries. The engineer develops and maintains production applications, web solutions, APIs, and composition templates used to produce client documents for print, mail, and electronic delivery. The work includes application development, data mapping, integrations, testing, deployment support, and production issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Analyze project requests
• design and maintain C#/.NET applications, REST APIs, database integrations, and document composition templates
• map structured data
• write and test maintainable code
• participate in code reviews
• collaborate with QA and DevOps on testing and deployments
• support production issues and apply mailing and print-production requirements.
