Director, Site Operations

The Director, Site Operations role is an onsite position in Portland, OR, with cash compensation of $190,000–$225,000 per year. Panthalassa develops renewable energy and ocean technologies intended to support a sustainable future and deliver renewable energy and fuels. The Director leads operational performance across regional facilities, directly overseeing the Portland headquarters and R&D campus while developing Site Operations Managers at other locations. The role builds consistent systems, services, and accountability so facilities are ready to support the company’s changing work.

What you'll do

• Lead regional site operations and develop Site Operations Managers
• establish consistent operating standards, service levels, and escalation paths
• coordinate site needs with engineering, manufacturing, R&D, EHS, security, IT, real estate, and other functions
• manage vendors, services, budgets, staffing, and operational resources
• improve processes and address recurring operational issues.
