What you'll do

• Develop short-term mine plans
• monitor daily mining activities and equipment productivity
• coordinate drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling
• track production targets and costs
• support pit phases, pushbacks, haul roads, and mining sequences
• collaborate on ore-control maps
• lead or support mine design and development projects
• conduct risk assessments
• coordinate ground-control and slope-stability planning
• analyze data
• estimate equipment needs and production rates
• and prepare technical reports and presentations.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related engineering discipline and five or more years of progressive mining engineering experience. Hexagon MinePlan 3D is preferred; hard-rock open-pit experience and major project leadership are preferred.
