The machinist ensures that all production meets technical specifications through rigorous inspection and adherence to blueprints and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines (lathes and mills) using Mazatrol controls.
• Perform in-process inspections, including first article inspections, to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and dimensional tolerances.
• Load and unload parts using overhead cranes, deburr parts, and complete production documentation.
• Monitor tooling and tool life to minimize machine downtime.
