The Mental Health Specialist & Program Manager role is an onsite, full-time position in Sonoma, California, scheduled Monday through Friday. The annual salary range is $75,000–$85,000. The role supports Hanna Center’s Mental Health & Wellness Day Treatment Rehabilitation Program for youth and transitional-age participants. The specialist plans and facilitates rehabilitative group and individual interventions under licensed clinical direction, helping participants build coping, interpersonal, and daily-living skills. The program manager responsibilities support program development, implementation, documentation, and compliance while coordinating care with families, schools, clinicians, and community partners.

What you'll do

• Plan and facilitate structured rehabilitation groups
• provide individual skills coaching and behavioral support aligned with participant needs and care plans
• maintain a safe, trauma-responsive therapeutic environment
• follow safety, mandated reporting, confidentiality, and emergency procedures
• complete timely service documentation
• collaborate with clinicians, families, schools, county partners, and providers
• participate in intake, orientation, case consultation, reviews, and treatment planning
• prepare curricula and materials
• track attendance and follow-up
• participate in supervision, meetings, training, and quality improvement
• support program development, implementation, and compliance.

Why this role

The role requires availability during program hours of 3:00–7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and qualification under California’s Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist standards. Spanish/English bilingual skills are strongly preferred.
