Electrical Engineer — Stingray Product Development

The Electrical Engineer is an onsite role in Keene, NH, with an annual salary range of $95,000–$115,000. The position supports Gooch & Housego’s Stingray Product Development Team. Gooch & Housego designs, tests, and manufactures optical systems, assemblies, and components for demanding applications. The engineer designs, validates, and sustains electrical and electronic systems for new product development and ongoing production. The work helps ensure designs are reliable, manufacturable, testable, and supportable throughout the product lifecycle while helping maintain production flow and first-pass yield.

What you'll do

• Design electrical systems, schematics, and layouts for Stingray products
• collaborate with engineering teams on electro-mechanical integration and production-ready designs
• troubleshoot production, test, and field issues and perform root-cause analysis
• work with Operations, Test Technicians, and Quality on yield losses and test failures
• improve electrical and functional test methods, fixtures, and acceptance criteria
• maintain standardized design practices and documentation aligned with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
