What you'll do

• Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act
• evaluate staffing needs with the Director of Nursing
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders
• implement and evaluate care plans
• direct and monitor subordinate staff
• coordinate tasks and time
• evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate discipline or training
• monitor infection-control compliance
• investigate and document incidents.
