The role is part of Renesas’ Core Analog Division research and development team, which develops analog and mixed-signal products and configurable platforms. The architect leads development of high-resolution data converter intellectual property for standard and configurable products. The role provides technical direction and mentorship while partnering with design, program, product definition, and marketing teams to deliver new products and improve performance and development efficiency.

What you'll do

• Architect and design analog front ends and signal-chain systems, including programmable gain amplifiers, voltage references, and data converters
• develop high-accuracy IP
• design Delta Sigma, Nyquist, and SAR converters at the stated resolutions
• guide and mentor design, characterization, and test engineering teams
• develop product definitions and specifications
• collaborate on product roadmaps and long-term IP plans
• represent Core Analog Division R&D in technical meetings and initiatives.
