What you'll do

• Enter charges from provider documentation
• post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials
• reconcile deposits
• follow up on accounts receivable
• correct rejected and denied claims and submit appeals
• verify insurance eligibility
• work aging reports
• communicate with payers, patients, and staff
• maintain HIPAA and Alabama Medicaid compliance
• assist with month-end closing
• collaborate with coding and clinical staff.
