The Software Engineer 2 (SWE2) – Full Stack Developer role is onsite at the contractor facility in Annapolis Junction, MD. Compensation is $93.63–$113.63 per hour. The role supports Wyetech’s COUNTERPUNCH mission for federal government customers. The engineer develops and maintains mission-focused web applications and user interfaces, translating requirements and design artifacts into responsive, scalable, accessible software. The role works with mission customers, end users, Government leadership, and a small Agile development team to improve application functionality and mission effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain interfaces and applications using ReactJS, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• translate requirements, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user stories into reusable interfaces
• design and consume RESTful APIs
• test, debug, and troubleshoot applications
• participate in code reviews
• collaborate with mission customers and Government leadership
• document software and support quality control and test procedures.

Why this role

Requires 14 years of similar Software Engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or four additional years of qualifying experience in lieu of the degree; requires U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI/full-scope polygraph with MPO and client-level polygraph.
