Cook — Full Time, Day Schedule

Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with a schedule of varying days from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. The position supports Restaurant Associates’ dining and event catering services at CoStar. The cook prepares and serves food to established standards, maintaining quality, portion control, safe temperatures, and kitchen cleanliness. The role also supports production planning, inventory and supply handling, equipment upkeep, and safe food service.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and service schedules
• portion and serve meals at appropriate temperatures
• maintain service records
• clean and organize kitchen and storage areas
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving
• report maintenance needs and attend safety meetings
• follow HACCP and company safety procedures.
