The Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance — Michigan Affiliate is an onsite, part-time role in Southfield, MI, paying $37–$39 per hour. The position supports the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan’s financial operations and organizational mission. The role maintains accurate accounting and reporting, supports budgeting, audits, grants, and financial administration, and provides analysis to help the President and leadership team make sound decisions and guide the Foundation’s financial strategy.

What you'll do

• Maintain the general ledger and day-to-day accounting functions, including payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and financial statements
• support annual budgeting, variance analysis, financial projections, and leadership and Board reporting
• prepare audit schedules and external reports
• manage grant tracking, cash-flow projections, investment reporting, benefit-plan administration, and fixed-asset schedules
• collaborate with staff, Board members, auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders
• support Foundation programs and fundraising events as needed.

Why this role

Nonprofit accounting experience is required; CPA certification is not required. Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of general accounting experience. Statewide travel to community presentations, events, and meetings is required.
