The Maintenance Mechanic — Second Shift role is onsite in Shelbyville, KY. Pay is $27 per hour. The mechanic installs, repairs, and maintains industrial equipment and facility systems to support safe, reliable plant operations. The work includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and documentation, as well as assisting with equipment and facility upkeep.

What you'll do

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial textile-processing equipment and facility systems
• perform start-up and shutdown procedures
• troubleshoot electrical systems
• maintain and operate boilers
• perform welding and cutting and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• complete preventive maintenance and document work
• monitor equipment and boilers
• assist outside contractors
• apply general plumbing and HVAC skills
• operate a forklift to load and unload trucks
• maintain a clean and safe work area.

Why this role
