Facilities and Grounds Technician

Job overview

The Facilities and Grounds Technician role is onsite in New Castle, PA, and includes travel to assigned locations and buildings within the Pennsylvania region. Pay is $18–$19 per hour. The role supports WeCare Centers’ properties, which serve as homes and workplaces for residents and team members. The technician performs groundskeeping, painting, snow and ice removal, and minor property maintenance to help keep facilities safe, clean, welcoming, and well maintained throughout the year. The work also includes identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns and assisting the Facilities/Maintenance team with projects.

What you'll do

• Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and minor repairs
• maintain landscaping
• plow snow, shovel, salt, and remove ice
• maintain sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and exterior areas
• complete minor building and property maintenance
• assist with seasonal preparation and cleanup
• operate landscaping and snow-removal equipment safely
• identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• maintain tools and work areas
• travel to assigned locations and buildings within Pennsylvania
• assist with Facilities/Maintenance projects.
