What you'll do

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and hospital departments
• clean furniture and equipment, make beds, vacuum, polish floors, and remove waste
• collect soiled linens and distribute clean linens and gowns
• restock supplies and maintain equipment
• follow infection prevention, universal precautions, and safety procedures
• communicate cleaning and supply concerns
• coordinate isolation and specialized infection-control needs with nursing staff.
