Compensation is $18–$19 per hour. The Part-Time Monitor, Phoenix Landing is an onsite role in Fresno, CA; Phoenix Landing is an emergency shelter serving Fresno County, with onsite mental health services, case management, peer support, and housing navigation for people experiencing homelessness. The monitor helps maintain resident and staff safety, facility security, and program sanitation while ensuring residents understand and follow program rules. The role also supports a welcoming environment through client interaction, meals and supplies, crisis de-escalation, and accurate shift documentation.

What you'll do

• Help maintain a safe, secure, and efficient facility
• respond to emergencies to support resident and staff safety
• monitor compliance with program rules
• engage with clients
• distribute meals and supplies and prepare coffee
• inspect grounds hourly for safety concerns
• conduct bag checks and observe for contraband according to policy
• use crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations
• coordinate with the security contractor as needed
• complete shift reports and maintain logs
• answer and route calls and inquiries.
