Process Technician — Plastic Injection Molding

The Process Technician — Plastic Injection Molding role is onsite in Saline, MI, with a stated rate of $28 per hour. The posting gives a B-shift schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 12:00 p.m.–6:15 p.m., plus alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m. MMI Engineered Solutions provides plastic injection molding and engineering solutions. The technician supports production by keeping molding processes safe, efficient, and consistent with customer and internal quality standards, while serving as a technical resource for operators, supervisors, and engineering.

What you'll do

• Perform mold changes, startups, changeovers, and shutdowns
• troubleshoot molding, tooling, and auxiliary equipment
• adjust process parameters
• support resin trials and validation
• maintain process sheets and setup standards
• assist with preventive maintenance
• verify material moisture
• train operators
• and identify scrap-reduction improvements.
