What you'll do

• Respond to ambulance requests
• monitor police and EMS radio communications
• operate emergency vehicle equipment
• provide emergency medical care according to Pennsylvania requirements
• request additional personnel when appropriate
• transport ill and injured patients
• communicate vital medical information to receiving facilities
• complete medical and special reports
• replenish supplies and check vehicle function
• protect patient confidentiality
• participate in continuing education and public awareness activities
• supervise basic life support personnel during assigned shifts.

Why this role

Requires current Pennsylvania EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR, ACLS, PALS, EMSVO certification, a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, and required child clearances. Applicants must be at least 21 and have at least one year of Medical Command experience.
