What you'll do

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight
• conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• communicate with dispatch about delivery status, route changes, delays, and mechanical issues
• couple and uncouple trailers and inspect them
• confirm freight is loaded and secured
• verify bills of lading and delivery receipts
• maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and shipping documents
• follow company, DOT, state, federal, FMCSA, and safety requirements.
