What you'll do

• Review blueprints and construction drawings to identify scope, quantities, material requirements, and risks
• prepare estimates, pricing, and project budgets
• support cost management and control during planning
• use estimating and construction management software such as Planswift, HeavyBid, or Xactimate as applicable
• communicate with clients, suppliers, and project teams
• clarify requirements and support contract and negotiation discussions
• maintain spreadsheets and project records
• coordinate estimating work with project management teams
• visit jobsites as needed.
