What you'll do

• Assist in building, fitting, and assembling dies, molds, and fixtures
• operate conventional and basic CNC toolroom machinery, including grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses, and EDM units
• use precision measuring instruments to verify tight tolerances
• assist with production-line tooling troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and setup sheets
• maintain a safe, organized toolroom
• follow PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine-guarding procedures
• log repairs, maintenance, and spare tooling inventory.
