What you'll do

• Assist clinical staff with patient flow by collecting vital signs and weight and scanning laboratory results
• schedule laboratory studies and collect and process specimens
• label, package, and prepare specimens for transport
• verify requests, track reports, notify authorized providers, log results, and file records
• support reference-laboratory coordination, equipment maintenance, supply notifications, and laboratory documentation
• explain procedures to patients and maintain confidential records
• follow BOP procedures, infection-control requirements, and security rules.

Why this role

Part-time, normally up to 16 one-hour sessions per week, Monday–Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays; contingent upon contract award; New Hampshire qualifying certification, current CPR, formal phlebotomy training, at least one year of phlebotomy experience, and correctional-setting experience required.
