Pharmacist II — Fort Peck Service Unit

What you'll do

• Review patient charts and medication orders against clinical notes, laboratory work, vitals, and allergies
• process and fill prescriptions and verify accuracy
• educate patients on medication therapy
• collaborate with pharmacy staff and providers
• respond to provider drug therapy questions
• recognize emergencies and adverse medication reactions and initiate appropriate interventions
• handle calls and refill requests
• perform controlled substance audits as directed
• prepare IV admixtures and inpatient drug distribution based on patient care needs
• administer immunizations with required certification
• document care and attend assigned meetings.
