The assistant supports physicians and patients across front- and back-office work, helping maintain a positive patient experience. Duties include patient intake, triage, procedure support, testing coordination, allergy shots, vital signs, records, and insurance precertification.

What you'll do

• Check patients in and out
• open and close the clinic
• triage patients and assist physicians with patients and procedures
• schedule testing
• call in prescriptions
• administer allergy shots and take vital signs
• perform tympanometry exams
• manage hospital consultation requests
• float between front- and back-office duties
• scan records
• contact insurers for precertification.
