What you'll do

• Conduct periodic nutritional assessments for incoming participants with specialized diet orders, focusing on geriatric nutrition and chronic disease management
• develop and review menus against USDA guidelines
• perform monthly kitchen sanitation audits
• provide nutritional counseling during onsite visits or in-services as needed
• review and sign off on facility menus
• use remote time to finalize audits, review menus, and prepare education
• participate in nutrition-related quality improvement as needed
• follow facility policies and procedures.
